Depression is a difficult mental illness that is characterized by a powerful feeling of guilt, fear, sadness, anxiety and extreme loss of self-esteem. As such, the condition is mental because the period of depression lasts longer for clinically depressed patients, when equated with normal people who undergo a period of depression only for a minute. What is worse is that depression in some results in lasting loss of involvement in life, and in the end pushing others to suicide. Thus, it is thought of as one of the most pressing condition that results in many behavior problems.

Yeah I agree that cognitive behavioral therapy is very much beneficial to a wide range of psychological disorders. Those who are suspecting of having one need to try the efficacy of the treatment by themselves.
